In @45 minutes, with less laptops than we needed, with a slow network, with log-in problems, with weird directions, with some people working and some slacking... You were able to produce the following highlights:
Comments:
- I do hope that everyone was able to pick up at least one new tool/technique for working with your classmates in a group setting
- Question: How do you make it so you "stand out" or get acknowledged for your work in a collaborative setting (group1p1 could have been everyone's articles page...how do you get acknowledged?)
- Observation: Almost no one asked for a definition of Social Software/Collaborative Software...instead of asking about what I really wanted everyone ran ahead with the words I gave you...the person asking the question rarely asks for what they want (they ask for what makes them look the least dumb, or for what they think they should ask for)
- Finding something isn't the same thing as finding the right thing (and knowing why it's right)
- Please feel free to contact me: librarysteve(at)yahoo.com if you have any questions/comments
The "Winner":
- Group 6 is the "Winner" as their work lead me to the best resources
- Groups 1, 3, and 8 get "Honorable Mention" prizes for thoroughness/good resources
